Vision:
It's eye-catching and gorgeous. The contrast in colors is very effective - red, white and black is always a good combination, and you used it effectively.
The slightly opened mouth and the way she's pulling that strap are so right for the message you're trying to put across, showing just the right amount of uncertainty. Also, I love what her hair is doing :]
Originality:
Sadly, wings are awesome, but there are so many photos with wings. It sometimes seems as if all the good ideas have already been used - we have very little margin for innovative thought!
However, you are doing something a bit newer with the wings; there's more of message to it than "oh, pretty girl looking like an angel", so you do have a bit more merit than the average artist working with wings!
Technique:
My biggest problem with the photo is probably the change in color of the wall. You know I love the wall, but I wish it weren't so drastically lighter on the right half. (Also, the white marks feel incongruous but there's not much you can do about that.)
Good focus and sharpness, and I like the light on her. In itself, it's a great portrait. The off-center composition was a great choice.
I can't help but feel that there's a bit of distortion in the image right now though - honestly, maybe try uploading it in PNG? They're heavier files, but JPG doesn't compress well.
Impact:
I love it! All the various elements come together to create a completely coherent whole (and check out that alliteration haha) - from Lucie's pose and expression, to the colors, to the composition, to the idea behind.
It may be a pretty photo of a pretty girl wearing pretty wings, but it's got soul as well.
Great work, well done, and good luck for the competition!
